The competitive program kicked off on Friday with the Junior Esports finals in Brawl Stars and Fortnite, the championship aimed at secondary schools in Madrid. In addition to enjoying the competition, attending students had the opportunity to explore the Video Game Campus firsthand and learn about the activities carried out there throughout the year.
In the Valorant final, BRRR claimed the championship after a solid and dominant performance, prevailing in the decisive match and demonstrating a high competitive level throughout the season. Both finals marked the culmination of a historic season for the municipal esports leagues, which have continued to foster emerging talent and strengthen competitive development from Madrid.
The remaining finals—Pokémon and Clash Royale—will take place at the Madrid in Game stand during Gamergy, while the Fortnite final will be held online on a date to be announced in December. With these competitions, the Esports Series Madrid has reached 40,000 players since its launch in March 2023, underscoring the value of the Madrid City Council’s pioneering commitment to esports.
