Madrid in Game promotes the talent of its accelerator at 4YFN, the major international startup showcase of MWC

Madrid in Game will take part in 4YFN from 2 to 5 March, the leading global event for technology startups held as part of Mobile World Congress at Fira de Barcelona, where it will participate as a co-exhibitor for Madrid City Council alongside Madrid Innovation. This presence strengthens the international profile of Madrid’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and consolidates the capital as one of Europe’s most dynamic hubs for gaming, innovation and technology.

In this edition, Madrid in Game will be present with 17 startups from its Start IN Up acceleration programme, specialising in areas such as video games, eSports, applied artificial intelligence, gamification and immersive technologies. In addition, several of them —Cresory, Emogg, Evveland and HechicerIA— will take part in an official pitch at the fair, a strategic opportunity to present their projects to international investors and major technology companies. The municipal initiative will also be present at Talent Arena, where the startup Kraken Den’s will deliver a technical presentation on video game development and showcase the playable demo of its title HeartWeaver.

Madrid in Game’s participation in 4YFN comes at a time of consolidation for Start IN Up Program, Madrid in Game’s entrepreneurship programme, which has incubated more than 150 companies since 2023 and currently supports 58 active startups. With more than €10.5 million raised, 258 direct jobs created and the backing of a network of more than 120 mentors, the programme strengthens Madrid’s position as an epicentre of entrepreneurship linked to video games and their applied technologies. As Ángel Niño, Councillor for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Madrid City Council, has highlighted, Madrid in Game’s presence at international events such as 4YFN demonstrates the city’s evolution towards an increasingly relevant role within the global video game ecosystem.
