Madrid held the finals of its municipal eSports leagues after surpassing 50,000 registrations

Madrid in Game held the finals of the first 2026 season of Esports Series Madrid, the city’s municipal eSports leagues, at the Esports Center of the Video Game Campus. The event brought together the in-person finals of League of Legends, Clash Royale and Valorant, while Fortnite remained in an online format.

The municipal competition closed its first season of the year as one of the leading amateur eSports circuits in Spain. Since its launch in March 2023, Esports Series Madrid surpassed 50,000 registrations, with almost 9,000 players signed up during the first 2026 season alone.

The finals reinforced the role of the Esports Center as a free, open and fully equipped space for training, competing and bringing eSports closer to the public. The Campus competitive calendar also continued with Junior Esports and the Circuito Tormenta final, further consolidating Madrid as a meeting point for the national amateur scene.
